TOYOTA WINS GRAND PRIX IN CANNES

Happiness Brussels took home a Grand Prix at this year’s Cannes Lions advertising festival, with the iQ Font campaign for Toyota.
 
iQ Font was awarded the Grand Prix Lion in Design. The campaign was acclaimed for touching on so many good points of Design and Technology. “Because of its multi-dimensional applications and implications, the jury was unanimous in giving it the Grand Prix and we were really happy about the choice, everybody was very enthusiastic about it,” said President of the Design jury Steff Geissbuhler.

Besides the Design Grand Prix, iQ Font received 2 bronze Lions in Direct and 1 in Cyber. iQ Font and Comic Sans Destroyer were also shortlisted 8 times in various categories. Watch the President of the Design jury Steff Geissbuhler.

HAPPINESS AND EUROPEAN CREATIVITY

Spain, the current president of the European Union, strongly believes in creativity as a European capital for the future. Therefore the country organised a gathering with some of the most outstanding creative minds in actual communication. Happiness, as Interactive Agency of the Year, was very proud to be among them, in the company of people like Iker J. De Los Mozos (Oscar-nominated animated film producer), Diego Hurtado de Mendoza (audiovisual, multidisciplinary graphic designer) and Oliviero Toscani.

“If it’s not selling, it’s not creative”. We’re proud to announce the Happiness results at Eurobest, the European communication championships. A record of 17 awards, based on both criteria: efficiency and creativity. Happiness was given a Grand Prix in Interactive for Toyota iQ Font, 7 Gold, 7 Silver, 2 Bronze and the title Interactive Agency of the Year. We won with 3 different campaigns for two clients. The big winners were Toyota with the “iQ Font” and “Let it Ring” for OVK. We were awarded in Direct Marketing, Design, Sales Promotion, Interactive, Radio, Media, and TV/Cinema.
